To the facts: The strainer is made from stainless steel, has a heavy quality and shimmers in the color of copper. The close-mesh spiral adapts to the diameter of the Bostonshaker or mixing glass with a diameter of about 7-10cm.
The clou of this bar device come from two innovations:
There are two metal loops on the surface. If you put a finger in between them during pouring (straining) the liquid, you are able to control the flow by moving the lid back and forth.
Furthermore the lid with the three round edges is slightly bend, which reduces the area of support and avoids spilling liquid during the straining process.
You can take out the spring coil easily for cleaning the strainer. But we recommend to do this by hand and not to put it into the dish washer. This strainer meets highest standards and you will not want to put it aside anymore. That sharp it works and looks.
