The Bordeaux glass from Stölzle's 'Quatrophil' glassware series is characterized by the series' iconic exterior, which is dominated by a prominently shaped drinking goblet. What makes this glass even more unique is its functional goblet shape, which is perfect for presenting Bordeaux wines. This is due to the deep maximum diameter of the goblet, which perfectly accentuates the bouquet of powerful, tannin-forward wines.
This allows for a large surface area just millimetres above the obtuse-angled ground of the goblet. Upwards, the side walls are almost entirely straight with a slight tilt towards each other, giving the calyx almost a slender stature.
A machine-drawn stem originates underneath the goblet and quickly tapers to a thin, even handle. Therefore, the lightweight glass can be easily swiveled and then simply be lifted to the mouth.
Serve and enjoy the characterful grape variety Bordeaux with dedicated glassware!

The "Quatrophil" collection by manufacturer Stölzle is characterized by a delicate, yet extravagant shape. The same applies to the Bordeaux glass in the series, which features a shape specific to those characteristic wines. It is equipped with a thin-walled goblet, whose maximum diameter of 10,2cm is just millimetres above the ground. Thanks to this shape, the bouquet of tannin-rich red wines with a strong character can be displayed perfectly.
Nevertheless, the entire glass appears to be rather slender after all, as its walls are high-closed towards the top, where they form a polished 6,5cm rim.
The machine-drawn stem originates underneath the goblet and is of particularly slender and filigree stature, thus underlining the elegantly refined look of the glass. Use this glass for dedicated Bordeaux wine and enjoy the pleasant and easy handling of this lightweight wine glass.
