The Frucosol glass froster makes the frosting of glasses a visual highlight at the bar. With the help of CO2, the glasses get a white, frosty coating or are simply cooled. During the freezing process, two small LED lights are glowing next to the glass - an additional eye-catcher.
In addition to the show effect, the glass froster also functions as a quick cooling method for your glasses, should there not be enough space in the freezer. Since the Frucosol froster works without electricity, you can attach it anytime, anywhere (please note the instructions for mounting!).
Frost Martini glasses before serving Martinis or fruit Daiquiris; or use the frosting effect for champagne and wine glasses, cocktails and spirits such as Vodka or Aquavit. By the way, CO2 does not affect the taste of the beverage or the carbonation.
Setting up the Frucosol Glass Froster
The Frucocol froster has a total height of about 52,5cm, of which about 41,0cm are above the counter. The bottom part operates like a screw clamp. Just clamp the part at the counter and tighten the screw. The counter´s thickness must not be more than 8,0cm; while it needs to be at least 1,5cm thick. Please also keep in mind that under the counter you still need to have up to 18cm free space for the screw.
Once the glass froster is firmly fastened to the surface, you can connect the gas hose to the gas cylinder with the adapter (tighten the nut!). Now open the main tap of the gas cylinder and then push the froster head down until you can hear the CO2 gas stream out. The Frucosol gass froster is now ready for use.
The froster will work with any common CO2 bottle with a standpipe. Furthermore the froster will be delivered with a pipe (length of approx. 1,70m) and with common CO2 bottles matching connection.
How to operate the Frucosol Glass Froster
To frost the glasses, just place the glass under the froster head for 2-3 sec. (not more than 10 sec.), while pushing down the froster head to dispense the CO2. Repeat this process up to 3 times to reach the frosting you´d like. The icing level depends on air humidity, glass temperature, ambient temperature and glass thickness. Try it out! For example, if the glass is to be covered with frost, it must first be wet.
It is best to freeze empty glasses.
If the freezer is not used for a while (more than 1 hour and after work), the main tap of the gas cylinder must be closed.
To avoid problems when using the freezer, please note the following concerning the CO2 bottles:
The freezer works only in conjunction with a CO2 bottle with standpipe (there are also CO2 cylinders without standpipe).
The CO2 bottle only works if the ambient temperature is under 30°C. If the CO2 cylinder gets too hot, you can, for example, cool it with ice.
Please note that batteries and the CO2 bottle are not included.
Read the manual and safety instructions carefully before use!
