Don´t mix it up: The in Germany quite beloved mineral water and soda water - soda water is higher carbonated and shows a finer sparkling. Therefore it is a standard used in a professional equipped bar and not to miss out if you are a fan of fizzy drinks.
Using a soda siphon is very easy. Fill up the bottle with liquid (max. till it hits the measuring tube) then insert the rising tube and adjust the head firmly. Insert the soda charger into the charger holder and screw it into the thread of the head. You can hear the carbon dioxide been added to the water. To give it a better mix shake the bottle.
Of course in this siphon you can not just carbonate water, but also other liquids with no upfront carbonation, even ready mixed cocktails. Just make sure that the liquids stay within 1-30 Degree Celsius to ensure proper functionality.
