The pumpkin is one of the oldest cultivated plants of the world and includes around 800 different types. Well-known and popular types are the powerful but sweetish Hokkaido, the muscat pumpkin, the sweet nutty Early Butternut and the large orange yellow pumpkin called "Gelber Zentner". Botanically, these fruits belong to the berry fruits and are annual plants. Pumpkins have a high percentage of antioxidants and a soothing and preventive effect with infections. Moreover, the pumpkin is rich in beta- carotene and fibres. The fruit pulp, kernels and oil are mainly used for soups, casseroles, marmalade and cake.
Monin is using the popularity of pumpkins and created this extraordinarily Pumpkin Spice syrup. It has a typical and authentic pumpkin taste flavoured with notes of cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. Therefore, this syrup is usable for a wide range of drinks and food.

Hot Pumpkin Pie
4,5cl Monin Syrup Pumpkin Spice
6cl Cranberry juice
4,5cl Spiced Rum
9cl hot water
Pour ingredients into the hot water, stir and serve.

Ingredients: sugar, water, natural pumpkin flavor (corresponds to 10% pumpkin juice in the final product), natural flavor, coloring: caramel, natural cinnamon flavor with other natural flavors, natural clove flavor, acidifier: citric acid.
