The Rio™ Commercial Bar Blender convinces with a lot of practical and efficient features. Its scope of delivery includes a base with motor and non-slip feet, a lid, a scaled blender jar, and a blade assembly unit. The high-quality device is also equipped with the manufacturer's proprietary Wave~Action® system. By continuously pushing the mixture down into the blades, this technology ensures exceptionally homogeneous and smooth blended products.

Also essential for blending and crushing drinks plus ice with ultra-smooth results are the blender's blades. This model is provided with a high-performance blade, which has got two ends with razor-sharp edges. Additionally, its outer ends are each bent upwards at right angles to significantly increase the cutting radius and the number of its angles. The rotor blade is attached to a metal drive coupling. This is designed to provide the blade not only with strong power, but also with a high torque number.

The drive coupling is firmly anchored within the black-clad base of the Rio™ Commercial Bar Blender. The latter also contains the unit's motor, which impresses with a peak output of 1,6HP. Furthermore integrated into the top of the base is the control center. This has two switches, located on the far right and left respectively, and a key legend in the middle of them. The left slider is used for switching on and can be set to stop, on and start. On the other hand, the right switch can be used to adjust the mix speed to low (1) or high (2), and also to a third mode called pulse. The blender base firmly stands on four feet that feature Hamilton Beach's Sure Grip™ technology to prevent any wobbling or spinning caused by the blender's high power.

The HBB255-CE features a square shaped container made of BPA-free copolyester, which is mostly transparent. Only its ergonomic handle bears the same black color as the base and lid. It holds 1,4l and is scaled from 0,2l to just that maximum fill level in 0,1l intervals with white digits. Unlike its predecessors, this blender's container is wider and square, which expands the space for large ingredients while minimizing the preparation time.

Last but not least, the Rio™ Commercial Bar Blender features a high lid that reaches deep into the blender jar, triple-sealing it inside with its locking rims. However, the lid not only holds particularly well, but is also equipped with an 'open lid' safety sensor. If the lid is not closed, or if the container is not correctly positioned on its base, a symbol alerts the user below the described levels of the control center. Thus, fountain-like accidents are avoided and your counter, as well as the employees are spared from a margarita shower!
