The red wine glass from the series 'Revolution' was designed in part by famous architect Wilhelm Holzbauer. It features a robust drawn stem and is therefore completely seamless. To give the glass more stability, the stem was designed rather short, which is counteracted by the large goblet.
The thin and transparent goblet features a prominent and modern kink close to the seamless connection to the stem. This enhances the aromas of tannin-rich red wines. The design language speaks for itself and can be found in all members of the 'Revolution' glassware family from Stölzle.
The 'Revolution' wine glass collection was designed in collaboration with star architect Wilhelm Holzbauer. A modern angular shape gives this series its essential optical character. This wine glass stands on a sturdy, drawn stem. This stem was deliberately designed to be shorter in order to ensure a secure stand despite the large calyx on top.
The expansive goblet consists of particularly thinly blown and transparent glass. Its shape benefits the taste of red wines, which are rich in tannins and fruit flavors. The angular design is a signature to the 'Revolution' series by Stölzle. These red wine glasses are available in a case of 6.

Glass manufacturer Stölzle Lausitz GmbH is located in Lausitz, Saxony, a place that offers all the requirements needed for making glassware. Starting in 1889, the glassworks manufactured technical products such as glass tubes and light bulbs, but soon concentrated on hand-blown goblets. Since the 1960s, Stölzle has perfected the mechanical production of beakers and stemmed glasses. Today, Stölzle Lausitz is one of the leading international manufacturers of crystal glass stemware. The company is well established in the field of mechanical production of glass goblets with drawn stems. Stölzle's machine-made glasses even compete with some hand-made glasses in terms of quality. It's no wonder that restaurateurs and sommeliers around the world trust in the reliable and break-resistant glass products from Stölzle Lausitz.
