As the series name 'Drink Specific Glassware' already suggests, the bar collection consists of several glasses, each intended for one type of drink. In this context, this dainty stemmed glass has been designed for serving sours of all kinds. In fact, due to their intensity, these mixtures of spirits, lemon juice and sugar are served on a rather small scale and demand a well-executed shape to support their richness of facets. Thus, the manufacturer Riedel has created this sour glass to do justice to all of the above. Riedel has a lot of experience with drink-specific glasses and repeatedly brings groundbreaking grape-specific wine glasses onto the market.
The most striking thing about this cocktail glass is the bell-shaped goblet, which has got a lip that curves outward, as well as a deep-set belly. The lip ensures that the powerful flavors hit the tip of the tongue directly for the most intense taste. The thin-walled chalice sits on a slender stem, which in turn rests on a very wide, hollow foot. This results in an overall size of 15,8cm.
