This decanter from the 'Willsberger Anniversary' collection by Spiegelau thrives on its sweeping shape. From the top, the side walls initially run concave before opening up again to form the broad, elliptical belly of the decanter. The whole decanter stands on a wide base via a short, sturdy stem. This is unusual for a carafe, but gives it an even sleeker look.
The wine decanter is filled with your selected red wine to the widest part of the belly, giving the wine as much surface area as possible to interact with oxygen - or in other words: to decant.
The wine decanter from Spiegelau's 'Willsberger Anniversary' range impresses with its sweeping, fresh design. From the broad, elliptical belly of the vessel, the side walls of the neck initially run strongly concave before opening slightly again to form a flared lip. In addition, the crystal glass decanter has got a sturdy stem at the bottom and a wide base. When decanting, the red wine has plenty of space in the wide belly to develop its aromas.
