Mix your Swizzle Cocktails in the original style with this 27,5cm long wooden querl! It consists of a long and round stick and a drop-shaped head which keeps six short sticks. Spin the querl between your palms to mingle liquids fast and effectively. The swizzle stick is also used to scatter crushed ice in the cocktail glass and cooling the drink to the preferred temperature.
The original swizzle stick is a natural product from the swizzle stick shrub, called Quararibea turbinata. Originally the usage of this swizzle stick comes from the Caribbean and it is associated with the "Bermuda rum swizzle" cocktail:
