The tall flower vase offers plenty of space for large bouquets. The inside of the chalice is 28,5cm high and has an inside diameter of 14cm. It is decorated with long, notched lines that run from below over the entire chalice to the edge. The design stretches the crystal glass vase even more and provides a certain lightness, despite the massive construction. In addition, the decor creates a beautiful refraction of light. The 11x11cm stand ensures that the heavy vase is stable. The base and calyx are connected by a short, angular stem.
The 'Minerva' vase from Nachtmann is also a classy gift idea and comes in an attractive gift box. All you have to do is add a bow.
As a combination with the Minerva vase, we recommend simple, undecorated wine glasses made of brilliant crystal glass - as a classic variant. Those who like it pompous and vintage can combine the retro vase with equally lavishly decorated glasses. Nachtmann's 'Prestige' and 'Jules' series come to mind, which use a pattern very similar to 'Minerva'.
The origins of F. X. Nachtmann Bleikristallwerke GmbH go back to 1834. The glass cutter Michael Nachtmann initially produced bottles, jugs and drinking glasses together with 25 glassmakers in the glassworks Herzogau in Unterhütte near Waldmünchen. In the decades that followed, the company grew continuously and relocated the production site several times. Around the turn of the century, Nachtmann came to Neustadt an der Waldnaab, today's headquarters. Shortly after the production of lead crystal was introduced (1912), a new plant was built in Amberg in 1920. After the end of the Second World War and the reconstruction of the destroyed production facilities, the company started producing lead crystal again. The end of the 20th century was marked by takeovers and cooperations. In 1990 the well-known crystal glass factory Spiegelau was taken over and in the following year a production cooperation was entered into with Rosenthal AG under the technical and commercial management of Nachtmann. In 2004, the takeover of the company and its subsidiary Spiegelau by Riedel Glas created one of the largest quality glass manufacturers in Europe. Since then, Riedel Glass Works has combined the brands of the Austrian wine glass manufacturer Riedel, Nachtmann and Spiegelau.
