This double old fashioned whisky glass is from the series 'Etna' by Italian producer RCR. The glassware series got its name from the Sicilian volcano Etna. Its design shows many rectangles and squares, some stacked on to another, some intersecting each other in sheer random fashion. Could this be an interpretation of the many rocks which make up the mountainous terrain. Or is it the ice crystals in the cold heights at the top?
The pattern has very deep notches on the bottom, which get significantly more even towards the rim. This makes it comfortable to hold the glass in the hand and, on the other hand, leads to an even more intricate design.

This Whisky glass from the series 'Etna' by RCR features a striking cut pattern on the outside, which takes cut optics to the next level. The tumbler combines differently sized rectangles which randomly intersect each other. At the bottom, around the bottom ice, there is a strong relief structure that flattens out towards the top. This change in structure can be felt due to its haptic qualities and also makes for a timeless design. The Double Old Fashioned glass is ideal for plain whiskey on ice, for cocktails or simply as an everyday drinking glass on the dining table.
